Carolina Professional Printers will take your mailing list and process it for significant postal discounts. We process your mailing list through our CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) software approved by the U.S. Postal Service for automated builk mailing, then address, sort, barcode and bundle your mail. We can check your list for undeliverable addresses, duplicates and other errors, resulting in better value for your postal dollars. We can maintain your mailing list for future mailings including additions, deletions and corrections for a small fee. We can use your bulk rate permit or ours and deliver the mailing to the post office if you wish.
What If I Don't Have A Mailing List?
Carolina Professional Printers will sell you a mailing list suited to your target market. We need to know who your target is, where they live and how large of a mailing list you would like to purchase. The list can be pared dow with further target factors or enlared using less.
How Many Pieces Are Required For Bulk Mailing?
There is not a minimum requirement for mailing, however, the U.S. Postal Service requires a 200 piece minimum to qualify for presort discounts.
What Do Mailing Services Cost?
The total cost for services depends on the extent of list management and how many operations are needed to get your mail to final form. If your mailing list was purchased through a reputable service, it should not require too many operations. With a relatively clean list, processing to get postal discounts cost about 14-15 cents per piece, automated bulk discounts can save 14-25 cents per piece. What If I Don't Have A Bulk Permit?
Carolina Professional Printers has a bulk permit which we can imprint on your mailing piece, thus saving you the $150.00 initial fee and yearly $150.00 permit fee. If you mail only once a year or monthly, we can save you the permit costs in; addition to postage discounts.
How Do I Get My Mailing List To You?
The most common softwares that are used for mailing lists have a Save As function that will save your database to comma or tab delimited format. Many standard database softwares that are ASCII or dbase softwares also have this feature. If your mailing list is in Excel or Access, we can take it as is. Simply email your list to us or save to a disc, floppy or zip disc and bring to us.
Are There Additional Charges For Tabbing, Folding, And Inserting?
